Teaching interdisciplinary learning through stop animation

Well, today I could not be a part of the class, as I had some family business to attend to. However, the group I have been working with took the ideas we had hammered out on Tuesday and created a fantastic stop-animation video. You can check it out here at: http://stubeggs.wordpress.com/

It is quite a fantastic lesson idea. Children can have an active learning experience, working in groups, to create a message about something they believe in. It requires research, brainstorming, storyboarding, designing of props, and technology to film. You can even have children use Creative Commons music as an overlay to add more depth to the piece. This is definitely something I will use in my classroom.
